Although, I had sat for few companies in campus placement, I wasnot able to clear the written exam or GD.
But in this, I was able to crack the written exam and got the chance to Face Interview, but at Wrong time :P.
GE package was good for fresher, and it was a Dream company. I was very fortunate enough to crack its written exam, it came at wrong time. Due to of some reason our final exam was sifted at 6 pm in the evening , and I got the call at 12:30 pm to attend the interview same day.
Final exam was of easy subject , was I was bit careless to study , I thought I could complete it in few hours , so left it to be done after lunch.In the morning of same day, First list of GE was announced for interview, in which my name was not there, so i was bit in chillax mood that ,I had plenty of time to prepare. But news at 12:30 pm shocked me, I wasn't prepared for even a single test leave the thing about taking double exam that too without any preparations. Unwillingly , I had to go by 2 pm, was in mid of confusion what to do, so thought of taking my subject's notes with me so that I can prepare in the mean time for Final exam. Reached there at 2 some how :P coz.. I didnt had ma resume with me , so had to run for taking the print out , had to finish ma lunch fast(i eat alot ;) ). I was in complete mesh. At 2, I was asked to submit ma resume. I gave them, and took a corner seat and started studying for final exam, although I was unable to concentrate cause, of so many placement talks going on like what questions did he ask? How did u do?, that make me nervous, and if this wasn't enough , I wasnot able to complete a single page of my notes which i brought with me. So i decided to keep it aside, let this chance blow ,thought of screwing my interview by myself cause I couldn't think of any other option as it was 3 pm already and there had to be minimum of 2 rounds, some cases 3. all technical that means minimum time required will be near to 2 hours, which will definelty gonna make me fail in final exam.
Luckily , I was the first person to be called, dont know why ? Interviewer was very cool tried to make me feel comfortable, I was telling to myself, I dont have time for all this common just ask any question and let me go.
I thought of writing questions down here, but again thought that it wont be of much help as it was basic questions, which any comp science student should know.
In b/w whatever he asked either i gave just opposite or said dont know.
He simply got pissed of from me, and told me "they will contact me, if they require to do any further process":P
I was smiling inside finally all the process was over within 20 minutes. and by 4:30 pm I was back in ma hostel. Tried to prepare for final exam somehow , in 1.5 hours.. Did it somehow, and in exam wrote something, as i knew you shouldnot leave any question blank, so that even if u r failing, if teacher tries to pass u, he shlould get some place to give marks :P even 1 marks in wrong question might make u pass .
Was bit nervous after exam, cause i was barely crossing my final exam passing marks as per my calculations.
When results came, I was surprised to see that I have cleared that subject with A :P I was expecting somewhere B and C (if pass), for that exam ALL THANKS TO GOD , EXAMINER :) :)
